About 'The Elmo Story'

I’m proud to show this work to everyone. 110% of myself went into all aspects of this project, which I can honestly say I haven’t done until now. I hope you enjoy this.

As soon as I thought up the concept I knew this had the potential to be pretty good. In today’s world we’re swamped by television being so in depth with famous people that it sometimes crosses the line of being too in depth. Drama is everywhere we turn. So having a show dedicated to the secret behind the scene life of toys isn’t that far fetched…just joking. But you have to admit that actors selling you lines about their real relationships with a toy Elmo is damned funny. This project encompassed every program that I’ve every used into one 4 and a half minute romp into hilaritum. So don’t think so hard, sit back, and try to imagine the pimp that Elmo really is.

Transition of frame

So to accomplish the goal for this part of the project I decided to make this small Elmo part a segment of a bigger show. To make it work I gave the impression that the viewer is flipping through channels like many of us do and lands on the show fresh from a commercial break. I watched a lot of 'Sportscentury' which inspired my 'Toycentury' and since the tale is a heartbreaking one, soft glows and smooth transitions were made instead of something that would knock you out of the scene.
